Perched amongst the green hills above Ventnor, in a quiet corner of town, is Seascape, a bright and welcoming apartment with panoramic seaside views you’d be pretty hard-pushed to beat. Looking out across the trees, the town and the sparkling blue waves of the English Channel, when it comes to the end of your holiday, we’re pretty sure you won’t want to leave.
Light, bright and incredibly airy, Seascape makes a great first impression as you head through the door. Stepping into the living area you’ll get your first glimpse of that fantastic view through the generously sized picture window, at which point you might like to download the Ship Finder app (as previous guests have recommended) to keep up with those all cross-Channel boats sailing by. You’ll also find a spacious dining area here, plus an open fire for the chillier evenings too.
The views continue in the master bedroom which also has a large picture window, allowing you to soak in the seaside vistas from the comfort of bed. There’s also an inviting twin room, a family bathroom next door and a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen. Whilst the indoors is all well and good, the south-facing wooden terrace is the place you’ll want to be. Here you can top up your tan, dine under the stars and enjoy possibly one of the most impressive views the Island has to offer.
Considered one of the Isle of Wight’s most arty, creative and free-spirited towns, Ventnor is a thriving destination that should most certainly be on everyone’s to-visit list. Set on the Isle of Wight’s southern coastline, it boasts stunning views across the Channel towards France and is backed by rolling green downland, grazed by a hardy troop of National Trust goats.
Previously visited by Mahatma Gandhi, Charles Dickens and the Empress of Austria, today Ventnor is famous for its annual Ventnor Fringe arts festival, its raft of internationally-inspired restaurants (including Smoking Lobster, Cantina and True Food Kitchen) as well as its independent shops and stunning coastal footpaths.
While you’re in town don’t miss Ventnor Park (a stunning Victorian garden complete with historic bandstand and quaint, meandering stream) as well as nearby Steephill Cove, a historic fishing bay with thatched cottages, seafront cafés and the opportunity to try fresh, locally-caught shellfish.
The Swysh Team are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We're only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
There’s allocated parking for two cars as well as on street parking.
Please be advised that there must be no charging of electric cars on the property's domestic circuit.
Seascape is located in a quiet corner of Ventnor with allocated parking spaces and easy access to Godshill, Shanklin and the former smuggling village of Niton. Please note, this property is accessed via a steep flight of steps which may not be ideal for those with limited mobility.

September 2023A great place to stay with an amazing view - you will certainly end up downloading the Ship Finder App ! The accommodation has all you need for a comfortable stay on the island and is a great location to explore all it has to offer . It is located at the top of Ventnor so you need to be prepared to walk up and down the hilly terrain- but that's a small price to pay for the incredible view from the accommodation's large deck area . Would definitely recommend !

July 2023Very nice stay at this place. Views were incredible. Only slight issues were parking (the space on the drive was very narrow so we had to park across it rather than on as wouldn't have enough space to get out otherwise!) and issue with the dishwasher which has hopefully been resolved (we didn't report until our penultimate day as had just been handwashing so not the fault of Swysh). Would be worth highlighting for future that there are steps down to the accommodation as this could be an issue for some visitors, but wasn't a problem for us. Easy access to Ventnor seafront as well which had most amenities you could need. Would recommend

June 2023Amazing view from a beautiful and well kept apartment. Only downside was the walk back up from Ventnor beach….but if you want the views, you have to pay with a walk upwards!
