2 Bathrooms Located on the seventh floor, overlooking the sandy beaches and sparkling waters of The Channel - this modern three-bedroom apartment in Sandown isn’t known as The View for nothing! With the sea (almost) on your doorstep and a private balcony to take in the scenery, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better-situated coastal getaway.
Bright, relaxed and calming throughout, guests at The View will discover three tasteful bedrooms (including two doubles and a bunk bed room) as well as a spacious and sociable living area - flowing from the kitchen, into a dining area and lounge. From here you can step out onto the panoramic balcony, where there’s plenty of fresh sea air to take in - as well as the stunning views across to Yaverland and Shanklin. There are also two newly buffed bathrooms, a lift to take you gently down to street level and a covered car parking space too.
Once visited by Charles Darwin and Lewis Carroll, Sandown is a historic resort town on the Island’s southeast coast, known for its miles of sandy beaches. Experiencing something of a renaissance, Sandown has seen an increasing number of independent restaurants, beachside cafés and even a community-led micro-brewery set up in recent years.
The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (housed in a Victorian fort) is a must-visit for anyone interested in endangered species conservation, meanwhile, the Dinosaur Isle Museum hosts an impressive collection of prehistoric fossils, picked up from local beaches. Scenic walks follow the shoreline and clifftops towards Shanklin, whilst for those looking to don a wetsuit and try something new, Wight Water offers windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding lessons too.

January 2024Really enjoyed our stay - great flat with excellent quality utilities and beds and amazing sea views. Swysh were very responsive and answered all my questions quickly - even sending us a replacement light bulb the day after I mentioned one had blown.

August 2023Lovely apartment right on the seafront with superb views of Sandown Bay. Beach right in front and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Car parking space very tight and accessed via a steep ramp that took getting used to. Otherwise, a great stay.

July 2023Fantastic apartment, spacious and well equipped. High spot has to be the view- sitting in the lounge or on the balcony all you can see is the sea and the coast and all you hear is the sound of the sea.

July 2023Absolutely fabulous sea view from this lovely apartment which was equipped with everything you will need for your stay. It's in easy reach of restaurants and shops with good road access to other parts if the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our break. Please be aware that access to the car park is narrow and the allocated space is tight.

June 2023It was my first time in Isle of Wight. I cannot describe the beauty of this place. The apartment was at the sea side. I walked out of the front door and I was standing on the beach. My kids love water and sand so they didnt want to leave. Apartment was clean, well equipped, we felt like at home. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back!
