1 Bathroom In a quiet location, accessed at street level with steep steps down to the front door, this wonderful apartment boasts panoramic views across the English Channel.
On entering the apartment into the contemporary well-equipped kitchen you’ll be struck by how light it is and those fantastic views will be the first thing you’ll want to take a closer look at.
The living area has a large picture window and open fire for those cosy winter evenings. Sliding doors from the dining area open out onto the large south-facing furnished decked terrace. The views continue in the master bedroom which also has a large picture window and the second bedroom has two single beds.
Situated in the Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor on the southern coast of the beautiful Isle of Wight Seascape is conveniently located for the beach and the Esplanade with its pubs, cafes and restaurants. A bit further along the coast is the beautiful spot of Steephill Cove which if you love locally caught crab is the place to go! On your doorstep are some of the Wight’s most popular eateries like the Tour du Monde, The Smoke and Lobster, La Cantina or the new True Food Kitchen.
A short distance from the seafront at the Western side of the town you can stroll through the beautiful Victorian Ventnor Park, which won the "Park of the Year Award" at the South and South East England in Bloom awards in 2014. This leads onto the famous Ventnor Botanic Gardens at the Undercliff, where the town’s micro-climate can be truly appreciated in a 22 acre sub-tropical paradise. The yearly Ventnor Fringe Festival and Ventnor Carnival - purported to be the second oldest carnival in the UK - are exciting events in the summer months. A short drive along the coast is one of the Isle of Wight’s best known attractions, Blackgang Chine, and regular events are hosted here to entertain all the family.

September 2023A great place to stay with an amazing view - you will certainly end up downloading the Ship Finder App ! The accommodation has all you need for a comfortable stay on the island and is a great location to explore all it has to offer . It is located at the top of Ventnor so you need to be prepared to walk up and down the hilly terrain- but that's a small price to pay for the incredible view from the accommodation's large deck area . Would definitely recommend !

July 2023Very nice stay at this place. Views were incredible. Only slight issues were parking (the space on the drive was very narrow so we had to park across it rather than on as wouldn't have enough space to get out otherwise!) and issue with the dishwasher which has hopefully been resolved (we didn't report until our penultimate day as had just been handwashing so not the fault of Swysh). Would be worth highlighting for future that there are steps down to the accommodation as this could be an issue for some visitors, but wasn't a problem for us. Easy access to Ventnor seafront as well which had most amenities you could need. Would recommend

June 2023Amazing view from a beautiful and well kept apartment. Only downside was the walk back up from Ventnor beach….but if you want the views, you have to pay with a walk upwards!
