Superb countryside views and only a few minutes drive to wonderful beaches, places to eat. All set in 30 acres of beautiful grounds. Outside seating area and BBQ.
Meadow View Barn is at Barnsley Farm. Nestled between the Victorian town of Ryde with its antiques, shops, restaurants and the quaint seaside village of Seaview - a gem.
Take aways deliver, cosy pubs nearby, beach and countryside walks and the hidden secrets of the Island await your exploration.
Private parking. Walks in private grounds and direct access to bridleways.
We live in a farmhouse close by and are always at hand should guests need or want anything. Happy to interact and happy to respect guests privacy too if it’s peace and quiet you are looking for.
Dogs welcome but please note there are ponds/ducks/geese and ponies within the grounds.

May 2025This was our second stay at Meadow Barn and this was even better than our first. Nicola and Nigel were so welcoming and helpful, suggesting so many places for us to visit for walks with our pup. To be able to freely walk around the grounds of the farm, taking in the trails of the woods and finding the hidden treasures, this is truly a beautiful gem of the Isle of Wight. Every morning our pup could not wait for her morning adventures around the meadow, the ponds and the woodlands, and she felt so at home at the property as did my partner and I. Nicola goes above and beyond from the welcome pack, the helpful local knowledge and recommendations, her easy communication to the special touches of bathrobes, sleepers and eye masks, not that these could every be needed with such amazing night skies to see. We will definitely be back again and certainly for a longer holiday.

May 2025We stayed at meadow view barn. It’s set in a lovely location, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Loved looking out the windows and seeing all the wonderful wildlife. Inside was just as nice. Lovely little touches such as the complementary drinks, breads, jams and cereals. Bed was super big and comfy. Would not hesitate to book here again, definitely need longer than a one night stay. Thanks for a lovely night.
