Whilst Wi-Fi is not encouraged at the cottage, it will be provided if requested at the time of booking, giving you the choice to fully switch off and unwind or stay connected when needed. Your four-legged family member is also most welcome, making Appletree Cottage a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing getaway together.
Beautifully renovated while retaining its traditional character, Appletree Cottage combines period charm with comfort and style. Set in a wonderfully tranquil countryside location, the cottage enjoys beautiful rural and sea views, creating a relaxing backdrop for a coastal escape.
With private parking for several cars and everything you need for a peaceful getaway, Appletree Cottage is the perfect place to leave the everyday behind, unplug and enjoy quality time together.
Approaching Appletree Cottage, you’ll arrive via a gravel driveway with private parking for several cars, making arrival easy and convenient.
Step through the front door and you are welcomed into the dining area, complete with a fireplace and feature electric fire, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. From here, the space flows naturally into the comfortable lounge, where you can relax in front of the television after a day exploring the surrounding countryside and coast.
To the left of the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen, which also benefits from a breakfast dining area—perfect for enjoying a relaxed morning coffee or leisurely breakfast. Leading through from the rear of the kitchen is the bright conservatory, opening directly onto the terrace and gardens and providing a lovely connection between the cottage and its outdoor space.
Also on the ground floor is an additional quiet lounge, ideal for enjoying a little peace and relaxation—perhaps finally finding the time to settle down with that book you’ve been meaning to read.
The ground floor also features a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, freestanding bath and WC, offering the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.
Upstairs, you will find two generously sized bedrooms, both furnished with king-size beds. One bedroom enjoys far-reaching views across the countryside, whilst the other has views of the garden and sea, both creating a wonderfully peaceful setting to wake up to.
There is also a second bathroom on the first floor, complete with a walk-in electric shower and WC, providing added convenience for guests staying at the cottage.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large private garden with a picturesque pond, ideal for quiet mornings, alfresco dining or an evening drink surrounded by nature.
