3 Bathrooms 4 Salterns is a stylish detached modern coastal family holiday home in West Wight. Minutes from Yarmouth town centre and the Wight Link ferry terminal. Top beaches such as Colwell Bay, Compton and Freshwater Bay are close by.
The heart of this three-storey contemporary detached townhouse is on the first floor, with a large open plan kitchen with oak worktops, a Belfast sink, fridge/freezer, integrated microwave, dishwasher, electric oven, wine cooler and a dining room table seating eight. From here, patio doors lead out onto a decked balcony. There is also a spacious living area with an L-shaped sofa and armchair as well as a Smart TV with Netflix and log burner.
On the second floor you’ll find a master bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower, a twin room and a double bedroom which both share the family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a further single bedroom with its own shower room.
There is a designated parking space for a couple of cars and a rear lawned garden with table and chairs for families to enjoy.
4 Salterns is located in walking distance of the historic harbour side town of Yarmouth with its pubs, restaurants and shops, Sandhard beach and the car ferry service to Lymington.
Located in West Wight close to the Tapnell Farm attraction, The Needles Park, Yarmouth Castle and great sandy beaches such Colwell Bay and Compton. Freshwater Bay offer lots of water based activities.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed on site.

Everything was as described, the host was responsive and helpful and sent all the information for getting into the property, along with info on WiFi, heating etc ahead of time. June 2023We stayed here as a group and the house was ideal for us as it was easily walkable into Yarmouth. The house as everything you need for a comfortable stay or break on the IOW and is located on a quite holiday park we ventured easily across the island from here. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a stay on the IOW. Hosts were great at communicating and helped us arrange discounted ferry tickets which is very useful! We stayed when it was reasonably warm and the only thing we would have wanted was a fan which sadly the property didn’t have. This would have been good especially with the bedrooms on the top floor they did get warm at night.

Just to let anyone know, we went over for four days and a weekend wedding, the first night we couldn't get back to the house from the venue, due to not being able to get a taxi, the next day we found Charlie from Cable cars 01983 753276 he was brilliant.

A large warm and friendly place and was easy to get to from Yarmouth port. 3 fantastic rooms on the top floor and one with en-suite and a fourth bedroom which we did not use on the ground floor. Nice open plan kitchen and living with a garden. Sarah was fantastic and responded quickly with any questions we had. Hoping to book this again soon.

February 2022What a great house for a family! Plenty of space, comfortable and quiet. Really appreciated the welcome gesture and the great communication from Suzanne, who was very helpful throughout our stay. Location is good, there is a safe path all the way to Yarmouth - a must with small children! It is real shame that the on-site pool is shut permanently, as it would really be really fantastic for this little gated community. Would love to come back!

October 2021Beautiful townhouse, great place to celebrate a special occasion as a family or with friends. Loved the open plan living and kitchen area on the first floor. Bedrooms were of good sizes and comfortable. Would recommend to other families with young children too. The house caters everyone’s needs. We walked into Yarmouth in 15mins in the evenings, you’ll need to book a table reservation for dinner everywhere as places are always fully booked up.

The house was clean and comfortable with outside space too. Large garage for outdoor gear was useful, and downstairs utility area. Lovely open plan kitchen/ sitting room area perfect for a group. Being able to open up all the doors and windows made it sunny and airy, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfy and 6 of us (all 17 and over) were very comfortable there. Yarmouth just down the road is a very special place. Would very much recommend.

May 2021Some friends and I stayed just after lockdown lifted (enough to make it ok). The place is as expected from the pictures - bright, airy, modern, well equipped and only five minutes from the ferry. When the weather allowed we also went for some walks around the estuary andalong the cliffs. I’d definitely stay again, either with friends or bring my family.
