A homely holiday bolt-hole, this characterful Cowes property easily adapts to whoever is coming to stay - whether a couple, a family or anyone on business. It’s also pet-friendly, with a compact but leafy park situated just across the street and miles of pebbly beaches a stone’s throw to the north.
Behind the front door (with its magnificent stained glass window), guests will find a comfy lounge with two sofas, a Samsung flatscreen TV and a digital radio. Further down the corridor, a light and bright dining room awaits, featuring an inviting window seat and impressive period fireplace. For those wanting to self-cater, there’s a well-equipped kitchen too where guests can turn the Island’s top-notch local produce into fresh and tasty meals - with an oven, hob, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine all at the ready.
Heading upstairs, guests can plump themselves down in the restful master bedroom (with its comfy kingsize bed) or make themselves at home in the tasteful twin room next door. Both rooms share a sleek and sophisticated marble-effect bathroom, where the walk-in shower should be your go-to destination after a busy day of exploring. Back down on ground level, don’t miss the small but perfectly formed courtyard outside where you can fire up the gas barbeque and take part in a bit of al fresco dining.
Cowes is the Isle of Wight’s nautical capital, famous for internationally renowned boat racing and a long history of shipbuilding and sailmaking. The town’s High Street is home to a sophisticated selection of independent shops and businesses - including top-notch places to dine such as Smoking Lobster, The Coast Bar, Heron at Cowes and The Garden. For those interested in all things maritime, don’t miss the brass cannons outside the Royal Yacht Squadron (fired to signal the start of many a boat race) and also the Classic Boat Museum and its collection of almost ninety historic vessels.
Nutcroft is located in one of the town’s quiet residential streets, just moments from the nearest M&S food hall and only a minute or two from the bustling High Street. For those arriving by car, there’s a handy off-road parking space too, so you won’t have far to carry that luggage!
This is a no smoking house but well behaved pets are welcome!

There is off street parking for one large car.
There is a pop-up single bed available which suitable for a child. Please request at the time of booking.
The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am.
The property is equipped with everything you will need including WIFI, utilities, bed linen and towels.

September 2024Great place to stay which I highly recommend and we will be back when next on the island. Comfy beds. Really well equipped. Clean and good location, within easy 5 minute walk into Cowes. We had dogs with us and this place worked well for dog owners.

September 2024Great comfortable house, everything you would need for a break away. comfy beds and lovely bathroom. perfect location for very short walk in to Cowes shops and resturants. great base to explore the Island. very proactive and responsive Hosts who checked if we had everything we needed throughout the stay. would definitely stay again or somewhere else the Hosts manage.

August 2024Lovely little terraced house a few minutes walk into central Cowes, M&S even closer for morning pastries. Swysh were great and arranged everything including crossings. Private car parking absolutely invaluable and space was large and easy to use, bigger than it looked in photos.

June 2023We had a great stay at Nutcroft. The house was lovely. Very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable family get away. The lounge was cozy, the beds were so comfortable, big modern bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed, the tea, nespresso coffee pods and milk were a welcomed surprise! As was the prossecco when we enjoyed our alfresco dining in the fully fenced courtyard. Our children and our dog had a fab time!! It was in a great location, easy walking distance to restaurants, cafe's and shops. I would thoroughly recommend Nutcoft as a great base for an Isle of Wight holiday. Thank you

January 2023Perfect host, perfectly presented property - worth noting, the stair runners are very shallow, especially as the staircase turns half way up, so people less steady on their feet might have difficulty getting up and down the stairs.
