Seagrass is a bright, spacious architect designed family and pet friendly holiday home that enjoys superb views of the English Channel from an elevated position in Ventnor.

The space

Step into the open-plan living, kitchen and dining space and you’re immediately struck by a breathtaking 180-degree sea view. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and Nespresso coffee machine. In the lounge there is a Smart TV with Netflix and a Sound Bar with Bluetooth and Blu Ray Player to keep the family fully entertained.
There are even binoculars for ship-spotting and maps to help you get around the Island. There are two modern bedrooms with picture windows (one with a double and one with zip and link beds which can be set up as twins or kingsize to suit your needs) and two stylish bathrooms (one en-suite).
Once outside there are three outdoor spaces to choose from; the private, sea-facing, landscaped lawned garden with BBQ which is enclosed and safe for children and pets as well as a separate terrace with a brand new 4 person hot tub, or the decking which extends from the living room, facing south for day-long sunshine!

The neighbourhood

Ventnor town with its independent shops, cafes and restaurants is just a 5 minutes’ stroll from Seagrass. Ventnor's beach has won awards for its cleanliness and has charmed visitors for generations. The town’s steep hills are dotted with Edwardian and Victorian houses and walkers will enjoy the coastal path to Bonchurch and Shanklin.

Interaction with guests

The Swysh Team are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We're only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

Other things to note

There are two private parking spaces as well as a new Zappi EV charging point.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome too.

There is a welcome hamper stocked with locally-sourced products which are grown and made on the Isle of Wight.

The property will be available from 4 pm on the day of your arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10 am.

The property is equipped with everything you will need, including utilities, bed linen and towels.

Seagrass offers a selection of baby equipment - making it perfect for families.

A lovely well equipped place with lots of homely touches. The view is fantastic and the outside area plenty big enough to enjoy it. The only down sides of the accommodation for us were that the hot tub was not very hot (and we went in April when it was still quite cold outside!) and the beds are very soft. Apart from that this is a fantastic place to stay and explore the IoW.

What an amazing place. I've stayed in loads of places but this is by far the most clean, well-equipped and wonderfully located I've had the pleasure of visiting. The views are just stunning and Ventor as a place is just so quirky. Defo visit the Smoking Lobster, as the meals were amazing and the London cafe in the village does an amazing breakfast. Will defo be back and I'm so glad we booked.

Had a lovely stay after Easter. Property was really nice and modern. Fabulous views from all rooms and great outdoor space. The property had everything we needed. Ventnor pretty and quiet seaside town. Would highly recommend this property.

We had the most amazing time, The apartment was stylish, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Everything was provided, from sharp knives in the kitchen , to warm blankets to sit out on the balcony, and everything in between . 10/10 to the Swysh team who couldn’t have been more helpful. This is such a fabulous space with glorious views. We enjoyed some stunning sunrises! The house is very clean, well equipped and the beds are so comfortable. There was a generous welcome pack on arrival. This is a very peaceful location and yet a short walk to everything in town.
