5 Bathrooms Sunseekers is just 150 yards from the sandy shores of Colwell Bay which is extremely popular with families for its clear, shallow waters, outstanding sunsets and its 5* beach restaurant, The Hut.
Renovated in 2022, Sunseekers offers spacious, contemporary and flexible accommodation for large family/group. On the ground floor you’ll find a comfortable open plan lounge with large L-shaped sofa, a 60” wall mounted flat screen Smart TV with Netflix and Prime, a modern kitchen with American fridge freezer, dishwasher, a range gas cooker plus a single electric oven and a dining area with a table seating 8. Next to the kitchen there is a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer with a door leading to a secure outside area for your dog. French doors lead from the kitchen to the rear lawned garden which has a furnished patio, 4 person hot tub and a Napoleon gas BBQ. Also on the ground floor is an accessible 'snug' with a luxury double sofa bed with ensuite wet room which can be used as a fifth bedroom and is suitable for those less mobile or for young people to relax away from the adults (please request at the time of booking).
On the first floor you’ll find four good sized bedrooms. A master bedroom with a 'zip and link' Superking bed with en-suite shower, two further 'zip and link' Superking bedrooms (one has an ensuite shower and wall mounted TV) and a bunk bed bedroom with shared access with bedroom 3 to a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.
Outside, the rear enclosed lawned garden offers plenty of space for children and pets to burn off energy or just recline on the sun loungers and watch the food sizzle on the Napoleon gas BBQ. The flag stone patio and decked area is furnished so that you can dine al fresco. Dogs and children can be showered off using the outside shower.
There is also plenty of parking for several cars to the front of the house and there is an accessible entrance.
Colwell Bay offers a traditional seaside cafe and beach shops selling everything from ice-creams and snacks to inflatable toys and wet suits. If you are looking to make a day of it you can also hire deck chairs and beach huts from the beach shop as well as paddle boards.
Freshwater village is a short drive away with a range of independent shops and cafes as well as West Wight Sports Centre with indoor swimming pool and climbing wall for wet weather days and a large Tesco. For water sports enthusiasts, you can hire sea kayaks at Freshwater Bay and explore the caves or even go coasteering. The surfers amongst you will enjoy nearby Compton Beach.
Sunseekers is the perfect coastal escape for a fun packed family holiday or a stay with friends.
This is a no smoking house.

The Swysh Team are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We're only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
We can offer heavily discounted ferry travel for you on both Red Funnel and Wight Link. Please let us know of your interest at the time of booking and we can provide you with a quote.
Beach towels are provided for the hot tub and there is even a welcome hamper for you and your four legged friend!
The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am. If available we can offer flexible check-in/out.
The property is equipped with everything you will need including utilities, super fast WiFi, bed linen, towels and beach towels. In the shed you'll find lots of beach items including boogie boards, sun umbrella, snorkels and even a paddle board.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there's no one living on site 24/7.

March 2024I’m not sure where to start with this being the best airbnb we have ever stayed in - I’ll try to keep it short although could write lots! This was our first time to the IoW with our baby, toddler and dog and we couldn’t have asked for more. Suzanne was so helpful with flexible check in/check out times, contacted to offer discounted ferry bookings and to enquire about travel cots. The whole house has been done to a really high spec - rain showers everywhere, fab hot tub with outdoor shower really handy for dog/post beach, comfortable beds, all appliances brilliant, so many towels provided as well as beach towels! This house is equipped with everything you could think of and more - little touches like shopping bags/umbrellas/basic larder/washing machine/dishwasher capsules just makes life so much easier! Even a welcome pack for the dog was provided - we didn’t use this but the thought meant a lot. Prosecco in the fridge on arrival

Also had loads of amenities (laundry detergent, washing up liquid, shower gel - that sort of stuff) that just made life so easy. Super dog friendly. Clear communication from the hosts & they were very helpful.

August 2023From booking to leaving , Suzanne from Swysh was amazingly helpful and always replied immediately. She sorted my daughters ferry tickets , for her car and family at a discounted rate which was very much appreciated for her young family. The house was spotless on arrival and everything was good quality from utensils to linen and furniture. Unfortunately the weather was against us for nearly all of our holiday but thank goodness for the hot tub it definitely saved the day for our grandchildren. The location was fantastic just a few minutes walk from the beach , had the weather been better it would of been amazing. The Longbeach cafe and bar was a great hit with the kids and takeaway meals , really reasonable too . We also visited The Hut again and the food was amazing, very busy so glad I booked online before we arrived. We will definitely use Sunseekers again , Thanks Swysh

Suzanne has thought of everything to ensure visitors have a super comfortable stay and have everything they might need. The hot tub is a real treat and the SUP and boogie boards were great fun in Colwell Bay :) Loads of great suggestions for places to visit in the area. From the first point of contact, to wrapping up our stay at the end, Suzanne has been so easy to contact, responsive and helpful, even arranging the ferry booking for us. I will definitely stay at the property again in the future and recommend it to friends and other family members.
