2 Bathrooms On a quiet road minutes from the popular and pretty village of Bembridge and Forelands beach you’ll find Seashell. It's comfortable and spacious and sleeps a maximum of seven guests and includes a downstairs bedroom with ensuite shower. This is the perfect bolt hole for a large family get together or a group of friends.
On entering the welcoming entrance hall you’ll be immediately drawn to the bright and spacious open plan well equipped kitchen and dining area which has French patio doors leading to a rear enclosed lawned garden and patio area. Once outside there are a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing and dining alfresco. There is even a secure place to store your beach gear and bikes. Children will love playing on the tyre swing or kicking a ball around whilst the adults relax on the sun chairs! On the ground floor there is also a separate living room with two sofas and a Smart TV for those that wish to relax in a quiet space.
Off the kitchen is a double bedroom with another set of patio doors leading to the garden and an ensuite walk in shower, suitable for the older guest or less mobile.
In the hallway there is ample hanging space for bags and coats and room for shoes/boots/extra bits under the stairs.
Upstairs there are 3 more light and airy bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin overlooking the rear garden and a single bedroom all sharing a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Easy to walk into Bembridge village, the Co-op is located at the end of the road and it's a short walk to the beach, Lifeboat station and pubs for an evening meal (both the Crab & Lobster and The Birdham do great food)
Bembridge is a charming village, which has been voted 'village of the year' by BBC TV’s Countryfile programme based on its wonderful coastal setting.
If you are keen on an active family holiday, the bay is hugely popular and offers water sports, including paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather. Outdoor pursuits on the island really are well catered for and include beach horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, and golf.

The Swysh Team are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We're only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
There is a strict no pets policy and no smoking, vapes or e-cigarettes are allowed on the premises. Candles are not to be used.
Those with disability, mobility, hearing and vision issues are best served by using the ground floor bedroom which has a thumb locked door leading to the garden.
Please note that beach towels are not provided.

August 2023The accommodation suited our party well. The house was ready (and clean) when we arrived and there were plenty off towels and so on. This was a good location for us as it is close to local beaches and other amenities. It was also possible to walk to a supermarket and a number of pubs and restaurants. We would definitely consider this property again in the future.

July 2023We had a great week at Seashells in Bembridge, lovely house which was perfect for our family holiday and it was very comfortable for 6 adults, 1 child and 2 babies. Easy to walk both into Bembridge village, coop handily located at the end of the road and a short walk to the beach/lifeboat house/ pubs for dinner (both the Crab & Lobster and Birdham did great food) Host company was great and booked our ferry tickets for us, very responsive whenever we messaged them. Would definitely come back!

July 2023We had a lovely time in this spacious property. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space and swing. It was well equipped with comfy beds. We would definitely recommend it. Bembridge village is a short walk away. The beach is a short distance away too.

June 2023This is a lovely house in a great area - walkable to shops, beach and pubs - with a peaceful private garden with plenty of seating. We appreciated the good selection of children’s books and the bottle of Prosecco for the adults! Plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. Great communication from Swysh at all times.

June 2023We had an excellent stay at Suzanne's place. Suzanne was very kind to offer a flexible check in. The house was kept neat and tidy as we arrived. It is a huge house spacious for two families .The house has a well kept garden , kids loved the make shift swings in the garden. Furnishing in the house was modern and good for a large family get together.The place is conveniently close to the beach , shop, restaurant and bus stop. I would strongly recommend the place to my friends and family.

June 2023We stayed here for a week with our son, daughter-in-law and their young children, (6yrs and 3 1/2 yrs). The property was perfect, exactly as described with a safe enclosed garden for the children to play, including a climbable tree and tyre swings. The gift of a bottle of Prosecco and box of matchmakers was an added surprise and generous gesture. We were lucky with the weather and with lots for the children to do, from Blackgang Chine to Robin Hill and the beach it was a very successful holiday. If I were to note any negatives I would wish for a larger bed in the downstairs bedroom and maybe the addition of a mirror in this room too, but these are minor things. Overall a brilliant holiday!

May 2023The house was fantastic for us all. The kitchen was great for hosting a large family (6 adults, 1 child & 1 toddler). Garden was used extensively. It was like stepping into a family home, with lots of home comforts. Perfectly situated in walking distance to the sea, village centre & some wonderful pubs. It was the idyllic holiday we all wanted, helped with the most fantastic weather.
